About the role:
A leading Tasmanian employer is looking for MR and HR Drivers interested in Bus Driving to join their team. These positions ideally suit people who have exceptional customer service skills, physical capability, and mental aptitude necessary to drive a heavy passenger vehicle safely and reliably.
To succeed in this role, you will have or are:
- A current Medium Rigid (MR) driving license (or above) (Essential)
- A Tasmanian Public Passenger Vehicle license or ability to acquire one
- A Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Card or ability to acquire one
- Fantastic customer service skills
- A high regard for safety
- Excellent time management skills
- Sound literacy and numeracy skills
- A willingness to undertake training and assessments
- Heavy vehicle driving experience (highly regarded)
Key duties:
- Providing excellent customer service
- Perform non driving office-based duties
- Transporting passengers safely and on time
- Operating a bus across the Greater Hobart Northern Suburbs and Derwent Valley
- Providing updates to customers and other operators as needed
