One thing all our products have in common is their exceptional quality. Not only are our staff meticulous and incredibly passionate people, but we also work within strict WH&S, food safety and handling guidelines. Right now, we have a number of positions – both full time and casual – available within our Glenorchy production facility. These roles are responsible for the safe and hygienic performance of a range of bakery operations tasks. It includes general bakery duties as needed and instructed by a ‘Production Supervisor’ and/or ‘Leading Hand’ or other designated staff/team leaders. Success in this role will require being able to work well within a team, as Cripps view teamwork as critically fundamental to the success of our bakery operations.

 Outline of Duties:

Bakery Operations

  • Adding and removing baking equipment from the production line.
  • Assist bakery staff in the preparation and packing of products.
  • Perform food safety checks as directed.
  • Adherence to food quality systems and general food safety practices.

Cleaning

  • General cleaning tasks as required to ensure compliance with current food safety legislation.

 Safety management/ safe working practices:

  • Ensure company safety procedures are always adhered to.
  • Identify and report safety breaches, hazards and risks for attention and resolution.
  • Ensure that all work carried out is conducted in compliance with company safety/ hygiene processes and polices.

 To be successful in this role, we look for staff who:

  • Ensure production output is completed to production plan.
  • All work is carried out in compliance with safety and hygiene requirements.
