INFORMATION FOR EXHIBITORS

Thank you for your interest in exhibiting at the Hobart & Southern Tasmania Employment & Careers Expo. We’re grateful for your support and for the role you play in creating real opportunities for our local community. By taking part in the Expo, you’re helping jobseekers, students, and career changers connect with pathways they may never have discovered otherwise. Our aim is to make your experience smooth, welcoming, and genuinely worthwhile, with strong community engagement and plenty of chances to showcase what you do best.

We appreciate your contribution to this growing event and look forward to working with you to create another successful, high-impact careers expo!.

Event Overview
The Hobart & Southern Tasmania Employment & Careers Expo brings together employers, training providers, community organisations, and thousands of jobseekers. This page outlines everything you need to know to prepare for a smooth and successful experience.

Exhibitor Registration & Key Dates
All exhibitors will receive confirmation emails outlining site allocations, arrival details, and required forms closer to the event date. Please ensure any requested information or logos are submitted by the stated deadlines where practical.

Bump-In & Bump-Out Details
Access instructions, loading zones, and venue maps will be provided closer to the event. Please review arrival windows carefully to support a safe and efficient setup.
For 2026 we have implemented a 'sensory hour' for visitors who may be more comfortable with a quieter, calmer environment, so to this we ask exhibitors to hold off Bump-out specifically until after 4pm.

Site Inclusions & Layout
Each exhibitor site includes a table and 2* chairs. All sites on the arena floor are powered and most other sites are powered. Preference to these sites will be offered to exhibitors who indicate they need access to power. A full floor plan and site map will be shared in February 2026 once final registrations have been received and floorplans created.

Vacancies and Employment Opportunities
In the weeks leading up to the Expo, we’ll be promoting a dedicated Job Board to highlight current vacancies, upcoming opportunities, and expressions of interest from participating exhibitors. We’ll be in touch to request any roles you’d like featured. Sharing your vacancies early helps jobseekers prepare, boosts engagement at your site on the day, and supports stronger recruitment outcomes for your organisation.

What to Bring
We recommend bringing your own promotional materials, banners, devices, and any industry-specific equipment needed for demonstrations. Free Wi-Fi will be available for exhibitors.
All exhibitors will have access to the Exhibitors Lounge located behind the main arena floor. Here you'll be able to take a break, answer some calls/emails and access hot water, a microwave and refrigerator.

Catering & Amenities
Food and coffee options are available on-site throughout the day. Additionally TasWater will have a water refill station located near the main entrance doors of the venue. Additionally exhibitors are invited to bring their own refreshments if preferred.

Parking & Transport
Exhibitors will receive guidance on parking locations, nearby overflow areas, and accessibility access points. Please follow traffic management instructions on arrival.

Safety & Emergency Information
Your safety is our priority. Emergency exits, assembly points, and venue rules will be clearly signposted. First aid support will be available at all times. The event is staffed by easily identifiable crew members (look for the bright pink Jobs Hub vests!) and in case of emergency Mystate Bank Arena staff will coordinate emergency response and evacuation.

On-the-Day Support
Our Exhibitor Desk will be your first point of contact for any assistance. Event staff will be easily identifiable and available to help with setup, troubleshooting, and general enquiries.

Marketing & Promotion
Help us spread the word! exhibitors will receive social media assets and event hashtags for optional promotion. Logos may be used in event marketing materials where appropriate.

Post-Event Follow-Up
After the Expo, we’ll share an online exhibitor feedback survey. We would greatly appreciate your honest feedback regarding our event, as this information helps us to develop the expo into the future.
