After recently relocating to Tasmania, Rajasinghe connected with the Glenorchy Jobs Hub for support in becoming job-ready and building confidence as she began looking for work.

Working alongside her Jobs Coach, Erin, Rajasinghe has made great progress with her job search and is now submitting multiple applications each week. During their appointments, Erin recognised that Rajasinghe didn't have suitable clothing for upcoming job interviews. To help, she assisted Rajasinghe with an online application to Dress for Success and accompanied her to the appointment for extra support.

Rajasinghe was warmly welcomed by the team at Dress for Success, who created a friendly and encouraging environment. The experience not only provided her with professional interview clothing but also helped her feel more confident in a new setting.

By the end of the appointment, Rajasinghe had received two interview outfits to keep, along with shoes, jackets and scarves to help her feel prepared for future opportunities.

Reflecting on the experience, Rajasinghe shared her heartfelt appreciation for both Dress for Success and Erin. She said she was deeply touched by the kindness and generosity she received and described the support as life-changing, adding that she will always be grateful for the opportunity.
