When Nipa first connected with Glenorchy Jobs Hub, one of the key areas she wanted support with was updating and improving her resume.

Like many jobseekers, Nipa already had valuable experience and skills, but her resume no longer reflected them in the strongest possible way. Working with GJH Jobs Coach Erin, the focus was on modernising the overall presentation, improving readability, and ensuring her employment history and experience were clearly laid out in chronological order.

Together, they worked on creating a resume that was more professional, easier for employers to follow, and better aligned with current recruitment expectations. The updated design also helped highlight Nipa’s strengths and made the document feel more polished and confident overall.

After completing the updated resume, Nipa began applying for positions and quickly noticed a significant improvement in employer response. Since making those changes, Nipa has successfully secured three separate job offers and believes the updated resume played a major role in helping her stand out during the application process.
