The Glenorchy Jobs Hub is excited to celebrate Hayden, who has recently secured employment as an Electrical Trades Assistant with INCAT.

A young Indigenous job seeker, Hayden came to the Hub determined to start his career in the electrical industry. Having completed his Certificate II in Electrotechnology, he knew the career path he wanted to pursue, but was finding it difficult to get his foot in the door despite actively applying for roles.

Hayden regularly visited the Hub and worked closely with our Jobs Coaches on his resume, cover letters, applications and job search. Most importantly, he kept at it. His persistence and commitment to finding an opportunity in his chosen industry really stood out.

Recognising his potential, the Hub reached out to employers in our network to explore opportunities. Through our strong relationship with INCAT, we were able to put Hayden forward for an Electrical Trades Assistant position, providing the employer with his resume and an overview of his skills, qualifications and career goals.

Hayden was offered an interview and has now secured the position!

A big thank you to INCAT for providing an opportunity for a motivated young person to take that important first step into his chosen career. Strong employer partnerships like this can make a real difference for job seekers looking to get their foot in the door.

Congratulations, Hayden! Your persistence and determination have paid off. We wish you every success in your new role and look forward to seeing you build your career with INCAT and in the electrical industry.
