Got some spare time and looking to make a difference in your local community?

Our Glenorchy store is undergoing a refresh we will be re-opening soon! We are currently looking to rebuild our volunteer team.

• Support those in need in our local Hobart community – all funds raised stay local!

• The store is a cozy, community focused store, in a strip of Op Shops on Glenorchy main road

• Volunteers will have the opportunity to build skills in all aspects of a retail store, including customer service, point-of-sale, sorting donations and visual merchandising

• Roles will suit those who enjoy working in pairs or as a small team, with autonomy and creative licence

• Volunteers run the store with staff phone support as required

• Make connections to the community, with lots of frequent friendly customers

• Become part of our larger volunteer team, which offers Volunteer Week and Christmas socialevents

We would love to welcome you to our team! Shifts can be a full or half day, weekly/fortnightly/monthly and based around what you can bring to the role.

Our volunteers are the heart of everything we do, and we make sure they know it! From regular morning teas and friendly catch-ups to special activities during National Volunteer Week, we love finding ways to say thank you.
