This Civil Job Ready Youth Program is a one week course where you will obtain qualifications and experience in the civil construction industry.
Civil construction has a variety of career starting points with many different pathways into many different and
rewarding careers. The civil construction industry welcomes everyone, regardless of sex, age, ethnicity, income level or social status. Training is available on the job, Australian apprenticeships are available to anyone of working age and professional development is available throughout your career. Many a labourer or apprentice has gone on to become the CEO or a leader in their field.
This one week program will be classroom based and practical training 8.30am - 4pm daily.
Applicants must be 17 - 24 years and must be available for the full five days.
Participants will receive
White Card
Use hand and power tools
Operate small plant equipment
Communicate in the workplace
